So we had planned to tell our families for Christmas since we're too poor to send everyone gifts and they'd all be pretty excited. But we found out a week or two before Thanksgiving I begged Danny to let me tell early so that I could have more people to whine and complain to. Plus that was the only way I could explain that we wouldn't be joining my family in Texas for Christmas (14 hours in a car on top of never ending nausea? shoot me now).
This is what they received:

Since then I got to get an early ultrasound to see our little peanut. I'm nine weeks today, but we got the images when I was eight weeks and two days. Oh, and in case you're wondering why I don't have one of those little 3D updating fetus images on the side of the blog, you can thank Danny for that. He totally vetoed it! He claims they're freaky looking and made me promise not to put one up. Anyway, here's our little baby!

I'm SO excited for you!!!! Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon;) That's the worst part by far, before you know it you'll be feeling great and looking cute preggo!
And I understand totally about doing absolutely nothing when you're sick. I'm worthless in that state.
GOOD LUCK and keep me "posted"!
Congrats from us! Last year at this time I was just getting over the sick phase. It's horrible, isn't it! All I did for a couple of months was lay on the couch and spend time in the bathroom throwing up. I'm so sorry you are in that phase. Don't worry, it should get better! Best of luck! And hope you have a great Christmas!
Congrats Jacquee!!!! Chris and I are expecting a baby also. I am due May 26th! We are set to find out the sex of the baby on Jan. 12
I hate to tell you this, but I haven't been very sick. Only twice. I won't rub it on - I will only wish you feel better!!!! Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Congratulations Snackee!! I'm so sorry you're so sick. Ginger ale was finally the best thing to help me. Your baby is going to be adorable and I can't wait for more updates!! Love you!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm so happy for you!! I'm sorry you are so sick, hopefully you get over that phase SOON! I love how you told your family-so cute:)
Can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl!!
**I kind of think the "growing fetus" thing is weird too:) So Danny gets my support. BUT there are countdowns that you can add, without the images
Oh my gosh! I am so excited for you. I need to talk to you. It has been way too long.
Congratulations again, Jacquee!

You know....I don't think I will ever get used to pulling up pregnant women's blogs and getting a illustrated visual of their unborn child and uterus....that being said...congrats! I will still continue to check you blog despite the creepy floating baby... ;)
Hey! I haven't talked to you in forever. I just wanted to say I'm so happy for you, and you new baby coming. I can't to find out what your having. :) Sense the last time we saw you at the wedding we have had another baby. Her name is Hailey and she is turning one this Monday. Anyways, hopefully your nausea will pass and you'll get to enjoy your second trimester. They say that is the best one. Which I would have to agree ;). Alright hope all is well. Shar
