Oh right, we have a blog.

Hello all. I know you've all been dying for information on our ever exciting life, and yet we never update this handy-dandy blog. Go figure.
So to satiate all of our die-hard fans, here's what's been going on for the past few months.
As previously stated, we learned that Jacquee was pregnant, both a startling and exciting bit of news. Food became Jacquee's enemy during the cold months of December and January and many a cold meal and sandwich were eaten because cooking was outlawed. Pregnancy, you see, amplified Jacquee's nose to bloodhound level and the slightest aroma of anything being prepared in the oven or on the stove, even things being stored in the refrigerator, pushed Jacquee's stomach into the land of nausea.
Christmas came quietly and without fanfare. We did go for a short hike with our friends the Scott's through Giant City Park, a nearby state park, because the weather was favorable. A few days after Christmas Jacquee's parents came into town, ourselves being the last stop on the list of kids to visit. They hung out for a few days and Mike helped fill the hole in the master bedroom ceiling get filled with a ceiling lamp.
You see, more than a year prior we had purchased a ceiling fan to replace the one that had been above our bed because the blades broke. After allowing the new fan to ripen in it's box for some six months in our office, we decided to install it, only to discover the base plate to which the old fan was mounted was not the correct size for the new fan. So some painter's tape and a plastic bag went over the hole, creating a small lung directly above where we slept that would inhale and exhale when the door opened or the ac kicked on.
So after an unspecified length of time with the bag the new fan was finally installed with the help of Mike and Aaron Scott. The star of the show was Aaron's super fancy ladder that unfolded to form a bridge to stand and work on. It was impressive.
We spent New Years chaperoning a youth activity held at our chapel. The youth had a good time, which is what was important. For the adults, it wasn't anything special, but it beat our other plans of going to bed early.
In January school started back up for both members of the Wenger Clan. Before shool started Danny went of a camp out to test out the new backpack and camping wear he had gotten as an early birthday present. During a campout known for being notoriously cold, Danny kept warm in his new coat and socks. Then school started.
Jacquee has two classes two nights a week and two more online courses. Danny is pulling 18 hours in the last leg of school before graduation in May. He also works 29 hours a week between designing pages at the Daily Egyptian and doing his research assistantship. He has been doing an independent photojournalism class and is getting quite handy with a camera.
Jacquee has had an interesting challenge in her ethics course this semester, which deserves its own post. Besides that she is doing great as always.
On Valentine's day Danny scored "Best Husband Award" for the third consecutive year by buying Jacquee a pound of chocolate ganache in dipping form and some fresh strawberries.
Danny also was accepted into a new program at the Student Recreation center called Saluki's Healthiest Loser. It's like the Biggest Loser in the sense that it is a weight loss competition, but not as dramatic and more focused on lifestyle change than winning. He get's to meet with a personal trainer three days a week and go to a nutritionist. He's stoked about losing weight to pursue his aspirations to be the shirtless model you always see in cologne ads.
Jacquee is happy about her stomach calming and the return of cooked meals. In fact, we recently gorged ourselves like wolverines at 17th Street Bar and Grill, the nations best barbecue according to Food Network.
The upcoming plans are travel to Texas to visit family for Spring Break in the second week of march and try to find a job in Austin. Also we find out the gender of our child that same week. Hooray for us.
That's all for now. Sorry no pictures. Instead, this hilarious video.

Ok that video was funny. Congrats to Danny for making the healthiest looser. I was unaware he was chosen. I knew he entered. Good luck with finding a job in Austin.
